Hi all, I would do it not on a calendar basis – this is quite hard to deploy. It should be an easy switch to say, mark this column or this date as weekend / holiday. Then to e. g. greyshade the whole column / day. At the moment weekends in bold. If you can add here a flag for coloring, this would be completely sufficient. If you are doing you work planning, it would be nice to know which days are holidays. And the bold font ist not always easy to spot. On the other hand, it is not necessarily easy to implement. You would need different holiday definitions for different countries and cultures. Some of the holidays are fixed to certain calendar days, others to moon phases (e.g. easter). And of course there are the muslim Sugar Feast, and other holidays, which are not always easy to calculate. Best regards Norbert I believe there are two separate issues here: * Should "special" days be indicated by having a different background color? * Define which days are considered "special". /Rickard |
