Hi guys,
Just upgraded to TeXstudio 2.10.6 (hg 5771:be44b21f6401) on win8.1, and noticed that after keeping the editor open for a while (overnight), text rendering starts getting weird. Seems like the starting position of some words gets pulled back, as if it doesn't calculate the length of the preceding text properly.
I'm not using any special font or symbold, very basic text. I did note however that just by selecting some of the text along the line, the jumbled text moves according to the selection size, which may be a hint.
Thanks!

can you try to change the render mode (options/advanced editor (scroll down)
Especially try to disable the cache (and maybe try some combinations)
Ok, took me a while to reproduce, sorry. It seems that the problem exists only on QCE render mode, and even then - only when connecting an external display. I think it only occurs when you open the editor on one resolution and then switch to another while it's open.
All the other checkboxes had no effect (seperately or together), once the problem appears.
Also, switching to qt mode solves the problem, but switching back to QCE makes it appear again immediately.
Last but not least - it happens the other way around as well: when launching the editor on an externel display (with QCE), and then switching to notebook screen, the same problem occurs. When switching back to the external display it's gone again. Unfortunately I don't have other displays here to check.
