Fresh installation of LibreOffice 24.8.1.2 on Windows. When clicking the "TexMaths Equations" button, the script window opens and an error message pops up:

BASIC runtime error.
Property or method not found: setTitle.

The line causing the error is line 80 of TexMathsEquation_Dlg:

If isLatex Then oDlgBaseMain.setTitle( _("TexMaths Equations [LaTeX Mode]") ) Else oDlgBaseMain.setTitle( _("TexMaths Equations [Text Mode]") )

Nevermind, I can't read. I have downloaded the incorrect version of LibreOffice which is not supported by TexMaths. The supported version works fine. Sorry to waste everyone's time.

I get the exact same error in Ubuntu, after LibreOffice was updated to 24.8.1.2.

TexMaths is not compatible with the latest version of LibreOffice. You have to download the previous version

Thanks, but this is not the optimal solution. LibreOffice keeps developing and new versions will continuously replace older ones. If TexMaths is actively developed, which I believe it is, then this issue must be solved.

I upgraded LibreOffice today and I see the same problem. It seems that LibreOffice devs changed something in the Basic API... These days, every new release brings new regressions. What a pity...

same problem here. I am using Libreoffice Version: 24.8.1.2 (X86_64) , on Ubuntu. I installed TeXMaths 0.52.2 . I get many "setTitle" errors. Is there a version of TeXMath that works with my LibreOffice? thanks

You can use TexMaths 0.52.2 with LibreOffice 24.8.0.3. It should work fine.

Same issue on MacOS (Sequoia). Will try an earlier version of LO.

OK, I found the culprit, see https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132064

I also found a workaround and you can find a new pre-version as an attachment to this message.

Could you test it and tell me if everything works as expected now?

    Thanks.

Yes, I had the same problem, and I have downloaded TexMaths 0.52.3 and it works for me, using Libre Office 24.8.1.2 (X86. 64). Thank you!

Why is this corrected version (0.52.3) not placed on sourceforge files directory, and not indicated on TeXMaths Web page ? It should be very useful. I discovered it parsing through bugs reports.
