#122 Incorrect Shortcuts

Dear Roland,

I use TexMath 0.48 with LO 6.2.4.2 on Mac OS 10.13.6. TexMath works just fine when I click on its icons in the menu bar. I have defined a shortcut cmd-T for equations. Works fine. There's no shortcut defined for numbered equations.

The Problem: the shortcut cmd-x (for EDIT-CUT) fires up TexMaths. Clicking EDIT-CUT works find. The shortcut cmd-x is not grayed out in the EDIT-CUT menu.

This happened first with 0.47 (after using it for a while without problem). I upgraded to 0.48 - no improvement.

I was not able to reproduce the bug. However, I don't owe a Mac, I just have MacOS X Mojave installed in a virtual machine, so I use a PC keyboard. This could perhaps make a difference...

I was able to set the Cmd + T shortcut (on my keyboard the Mac Cmd key is the Windows key) to fire TexMaths and this worked. Then Cmd + x worked as Cut, Cmd + c as Copy, Cmd + v as Paste, etc.

Perhaps you could go in LibreOffice to Tools / Customize, then go to the Keyboard tab and look at the Cmd + x key to check it is not affected to any LibreOffice (or TexMaths) command. If it is the case, then select the shortcut and click on the Delete button to remove the command.

Besides, you could try with a fresh LibreOffice profile to see if the bug can be reproduced from a fresh TexMaths install...

Dear Roland,

thanks, this was a very helpful hint. In Tools/Customize-> Keyboard cmd-x was associated with TexMaths, although in TexMaths prefs cmd-t was selected, see screen shots. I deleted that entry, now I'm back to normal operation.

OK, nice to see it works now.
I've noticed that in MacOSX the shortcut should be Cmd + key instead of Ctrl + key. This will be changed in the next release.
