SMTP error handling

My SMTP server password changed recently and I forgot to update this in the mail settings. Tellmatic pretended to send the newsletters out and there was no visible indication in the logbook that anything is wrong. I only noticed because I did no receive my own control mails. When I corrected the password everything was sent out again. Don't know if this is a feature request, but I rather would call it a bug in the error handling.
Keep up the good work and thanks for your effort!
i'll add a smtp server check with saved crecedencials and only send out if not successfull, otherwise tm will send you a message and leave a notice on its startpage or so.
so i would add kind of a 'tellmatic system status message' page after login where things like smtp server checks are listed etc.
i also had in mind to add a check flag for mailhosts if a test was successfull or not, and only list working servers for q's and bouncemail etc.
maybe also add a pre check in the create queue form so that servers get checked just before creating the queue-entries... etc
