Hi.

I love to see that this project is still alive. This game reminds me a
classic UGH! I don't know if I can help... and I have problems compiling
new version. Well... don't know when exactly, but I saw Taxipilot for
the first time about 2 years ago. Then had few distro changes and this
project looked like dead. Never tried to compile it again, to this day.

I use fluxbox and have few KDE libs (like kdelibs itself ;), it
configures (--without-arts) fine, but, when make, it still looks for
arts. I've installed arts, but no luck with it either.

If You like, I can paste some logs, put it somewhere or just send them.

And about the "help" stuff, if I would compile the game I can try to
force myself to do some work (like graphic or levels, I have no idea
about programming).
