When I'm creating/editing a task, I'm learning to do it plainly by keyboard. In the category tab, there is no way to set the focus to the category tree, so that I can select/unselect categories by keyboard.
A fix was made and checked into the source code repository of Task Coach. The fix will be part of the next release. You will get another notification when that release is available with the request to install the new release and confirm that your issue has indeed been fixed.
Because a fix has been made for this bug report, the priority of this report has been lowered to 1 and its resolution has been set to 'Fixed'.

Jerome, I'll test the update, but in the past, viewers getting automatic focus caused a bug which itself messes up the function of keyboard-only navigation, and this is still not fixed: https://sourceforge.net/p/taskcoach/bugs/1216/

The viewers should have focus as soon as you select the tab now.

Thanks; I noticed that but I didn't know there was a bug report for it. I intended to fix it anyway :)
