Maybe related to the field being selected in the budget tab,

cntrl-tab works (both Mac and Linux) for switching tabs in the task editor, but it stops at budget tab and then won't work again until using the mouse cursor to change tabs again.

Tested further. It has to do with text boxes being active. If I click in the search on the toolbar of the notes tab, then cntrl-tab doesn't work, and even if I choose another tab, I can then cntrl-tab over to notes and it stops there. So depending on different activation, there is some unfortunate interaction going on.

Partially fixed. Navigation only stops on the Appearance tab now. I tried a few things but couldn't manage to get it working...

This bug should be fixed in the latest release of Task Coach. Can you please install the latest release of Task Coach and confirm that this bug has indeed been fixed?

    Thanks, Task Coach development team

Nope, only changed. Now, it seems that I can keep ctrl-tab functioning at the Budget tab, but it is stuck on the Prereq, Categories, and Notes tabs, all of those won't work with ctrl-tab now.

    Just tried on all OSes.

    1) Windows 7: works everywhere
    2) OSX: doesn't work on Appearance
    3) Linux: doesn't work on Prereq, Categories, Notes

A bit better than before though :)

working without issues on newest version (though it goes through different active fields in some cases, not just tabs)
