[Table-bug] warnings

I installed table-1.5.24.el and added (require 'table) to my .emacs file.  When I start up xemacs
(21.1.14), I get the following warnings:

  !! Symbol's function definition is void ((table--point-in-cell-p))
  ** variable deactivate-mark bound but not referenced
  !! Symbol's function definition is void ((table--point-in-cell-p))

But the package does seem to function properly!
