Cool! Could you send me a picture of your PocketPC running TaalPulse to put on the webpage? To be notified about updates, just subscribe to the mailing list: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/taalpulse-user By the way, it seems I saw a video of you (I think) playing a set of jaws harp on youtube a few months ago, cool stuff! Hi, The difficult part is to find a Squeak VM that runs on your hardware. There is a page that lists a few VMs for Windows CE, but the servers seems to be down today: http://www.is.titech.ac.jp/~ohshima/squeak/WinCE/ I once downloaded a VM there, I've just made it available for download in sourceforge. So you can try that: - Download the WinCE ARM Squeak VM: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=200771&package_id=238698 - Download the TaalPulse Squeak image: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=200771&package_id=238622 - Decompress both the VM and the squeak image into a directory on your PocketPC, and run the VM. If it asks for an image to use, select the squeak.image file you just decompressed. Please tell me if it works. Version 1.1 of TaalPulse was released today. The main changes are: - New lehras: many new lehras are now available, thanks to David Courtney. - Instruments: the default instrument is a sampled melodica, instead of the synthetic sound of version 1.0. The tampura sound has also been modified so as to have less attack. - Pulse control: there are more pulse control buttons, allowing faster pulse selection. - Smaller download: the Squeak image has been stripped down, resulting in a much smaller image file.
