After signing and installing release 0.0003 on CM10, I lose use of my android keyboard on my phone until I restart my phone. This prevents me from (among other things) entering the correct Server IP on the connection screen of the app.
I've seen this issue too on my Nexus 7. Could you try the following to see if it re-enables your on screen keyboard:
1) Go into settings
2) Select "Languages & input"
3) In the "Keyboard & Input methods" section, select "Default"
4) I am presuming that your "Hardware Physical keyboard" is "on"
5) Change the "Hardware Physical keyboard" to "off"
6) Press Home
7) Go to any app and click on a text entry box. They keyboard should now pop up
