I'll start by saying I'm not in IT and don't really work with technology at all. Still, I don't understand why this particular field is so in demand and pays so well despite the huge number of people working in it. I just need a regular, decent job with a salary that's enough to live on.

So, how do you usually look for work? I don't know if you or everyone else is aware of this, but there are job platforms these days that don't deal with IT jobs. So you won't find those kinds of positions there. Just regular jobs, as you put it.

I think you're just trying to make excuses for being lazy. There are well-paid jobs everywhere, in every field. But you also need to bring something to the table, like solid experience or valuable skills, to get hired.

Come on. There are tons of job openings out there, literally millions. Have you ever checked job boards, HR agencies, staffing agencies, and all that? Take recruitment agency Mississauga, for example. They always have jobs for specialists in different fields. Sure, it's not IT, but if you're looking for warehouse or manufacturing work, or you're an electrician or another skilled tradesperson, you shouldn't have much trouble finding work. Besides, I'd recommend not limiting yourself to just one category or profession. If you learn quickly and are willing to try new things, you can easily look for jobs in related fields too.
