I've heard a lot about barndominiums. The main advantage is always speed of construction. I don't know, maybe I'm just old school, but for some reason it feels like you can't build a good house fast, and also that living in a steel structure just isn't comfortable.

I used to use those drain clog products, always had a couple bottles at home just in case. They really only clean out the top part of the clog, but they don't actually fix the problem. And if the clog's bad enough that you have to call a plumber anyway, why not just ask them what caused it while you're at it, for future reference. Same thing happened when I decided to switch out my old water heater for a new one, I called a tech again for a repair, but I also went ahead to find out the cost of gas...
