Question about installing on Ubuntu 14.04

I am finally coming up with a solution to sync my Motorola MC3x90 [
3090 / 3190 / 32N0 ] Mobile Computer
with my app on Ubuntu 14.04.

Currently exists a way to install Synce from binary.

In /etc/apt/sources.list add these lines:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/synce/ppa/ubuntu trusty main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/synce/ppa/ubuntu trusty main

Execute:

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install synce-sync-engine

I connect the devices via ppp, and grant IP addresses using the options file:

/etc/ppp/options.ttyUSB0

10.1.20.1:10.1.20.2

/etc/ppp/options.ttyUSB1

10.1.20.3:10.1.20.4

It requires making some simple changes to behave as one wishes.
