Then it is very probably incompatibility with this version of Freepascal. 
I have no time for testing of this new freepascal version yet. :-(

And as I know freepascal developers, they very likely made incompatibvle 
changes in their libraries between versions. However it is mysterious, 
because on windows platform I am loading and calling winsock DLL 
dirrectly, there is not place for WSAgetLasterror API failure. :-O
