I'm not seeing the behavior you're experiencing, and I've tested on several
Windows versions.

We might have an easier time researching the problem if we're running the
same code. Why not post your test here?  (Turns out, I'll be gone for a
couple hours again, but I'll definitely test what you post when I get back.)
