Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Richard Boulton (richardb) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Method docstrings aren't always applied Initial Comment: For the python backend, if the "feature:callback" attribute is not set on a method, documentation strings will not be generated for that method, even if there is an explicit docstring set for the method. I believe this is only relevant with the -ffast-proxy In addition, documentation strings containing a '"' character are not correctly escaped. This patch, against SVN revision 9671, fixes both of these issues. The patch contains an example, which fails if the part of the patch applying to Source/Modules/python.cxx is not applied, displaying the line: example.Foo.bar.__doc__ = None (Should be 'No comment') When the patch is applied, this changes to: example.Foo.bar.__doc__ = 'No comment' (Should be 'No comment') ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=301645&aid=1700146&group_id=1645 |
