Having looked at the crypto package myself, my opinion is that it is=

very bad swig code, completely unaware of all typemaps can do.

Maybe someone could help the author and rewrite the .i files, and sho=
w=20
GvR that a swig module can be easy to write and read, and that genera=
ted=20
code is often similar to what he would have written?
