I have floorplans (eg, basketball, tennis, & other sports courts) that need drawn graphics added, eg lines, arcs, circles to the floor of a room, such that they overlay the floor texture/color. I need to control the width and color of those lines/etc, and to modify size/position after creation/placement, and scale with the rest of the layout as its scale may change. Simple drawing tool in the UI, or way to "furnish" the floor with modifiable graphical elements from the library in a category of "Graphics".

You can import an birds eye view image of e.g. a tennis court, and use that as the texture for a floor (room area). I have been doing the same, but when I need a rotated or translated version, I use photoshop to create a rotated texture. (It does work for the level background though, you can add a background image and zoom, rotate and move the image to fit exactly how you want it.)

Agreed! Polylines are great, but sometimes we could use:

    • An arrow
    • A circle (filled or not)
    • A closed polygon
    • An arc
