Apart from the older look and somehow non-intuitive nor modern UI and shortcuts, the functionality is absolutely astonishing :) I am glad I have found this program.

Nice program

Generally a very good project trying to fix in a very comprehensive manner the most tasks related to smartly designing your home inside! I like very much its unique realtime 3D simulating during even designing in progress. I would like to get it extended to the outdoor, the garden rounding your house, meaning to become a complete Residence Home design as you may get some ideas from Garden Planner! The issue of this project is that it seems to forget the essential dimensions to be PERMANENTLY overlayed in its 2D plan diagram in order to be useful for more than a simply on screen design game... Any architecture related plan should have visible main dimensions on it rather than approximate them from a measurement scale ! Another feature to be better fixed as demanded for next release is to extend editing the dimensions in any object properties panel then automatically followed by updating its dimensions in the plan. There are still more objects that are not resizable by direct dimension numeric editing

i'm a gamedev and i never find such an amazing open-source software it because it is a good thing to allow users to use any software and then if they make any money by using it then there are 100% chances that person will donate or spend some extra money on that software i that's what i did thanku guys to make this software an open source

Soy novato en el uso de este sistema de creación y edición, he probado otros pero ninguno tan fácil e intuitivo como este. Para quien recién comience en esta área sin duda encontrara que mas fácil que con este programa es imposible. Infinitas gracias a los desarroladores !!

It is an excellent software which is much useful for not only architects but for anyone who is literate about computer software.

I have been using it for decades, now and then. Though I do not like Java, I cannot find a replacement.

Application simple et efficace!

very good app, I am very much concerned how to add a ceiling when we view in 3D view design displays base floor also, if you can guide me how to add a ceiling it will be great help.

I have been using 3DS Max for decades for Arch Viz , Product Viz, and Simulation Training Application creation. In my current role of creating CGI content for furniture marketing, I find that Sweet Home 3D is an easy to use but feature rich tool for our customers to use to help define what type of room scenes we are going to create as part of their marketing asset packages.

This is more fun than a barrel of monkeys. However. v. 6.3 crashes and you'd better save your work really a lot.

Make my work more easy to design housing. If can add new feature for vertical mapping in 2D, that's very helpfull. Horizontal map (Denah) in 2D available, but not for vertical map with cutting point. hello and compliments for the software. I'm building my house. just a few info: 1- i'm searching for my son bedroom, something like bed and wardrobe all in one. I haven't found anything on the site. 2- is it possible to deactivate the magnete when I need? when I put a roof on walls is very hard to do, so I have to place the roof, then make it invisible, put the walls under and then make roof visible again. thanks

You get what you pay for. (This was free, so, I guess a bargain, of sorts.) I didn't have to work too long to disqualify this software from my use. Any decent drawing software allows one to snap-to-grid when drawing/placing objects. This program does not. Claims to have "magnetism" (this was actually annoyance number one, the author didn't even know what to call the feature) but I checked to see that "magnetism" was enabled (it was) and found that in spite of being enabled, no snaps took place. Very annoying to have to lay out lines and items with painstaking precision all the time. If you have all the time in the world to do what you're doing, this program might work for you. I don't, so it doesn't.

Brilliant!! Started using this and within an hour had finished designing a room with absolute ease. I will certainly be donating, recommending and using this for bigger designs. I didn't rate support, as I haven't needed any! Features got 4/5 as I would love to have powerpoints (GPOs) available to add to a plan too, though maybe I don't have this as I am using the free version.

J'aime bien Sweet Home 3D mais je ne le connais pas encore. Je dois l'étudier encore pour bien le comprendre.

I love this! I love how you can download your own pictures of things like rugs and then put them right in your design. I love that you can show the client a "to-scale" version of what their rooms would look like. It's a lot of fun to use. I can't comment on the support because I haven't needed it yet.

olá criadores se tiver como vocês corrigirem o erro das paredes pois elas não mostram alinhamentos e está uma parte sobre posta sobre a outra e quando tenta colocar certo ele encurta a metragem e vocês poderiam melhor a parte de movimentação do mouse pois tem que ficar clicando em aumentar, diminuir ou arrastar tudo clicando em botões superiores coisa que dava pra fazer pelo mouse mesmo
