#1001 different textures on the same wall distributed by height ranges

Possibility to set different textures at various heights on the same wall. Useful for bathroom or kitchen walls if one makes a combination of tile styles

Don't have big hopes for this feature. Use very thin baseboard for two textures, or some thin boxes, or read http://www.sweethome3d.com/personalizedTexturesGuide.pdf

I agree with the author! I'm tired of making a lot of boxes and painting them in different colors. I want to be able to set for example: 10% white, 80% red, and 10% blue. And the wall was painted horizontally in three colors. This is a very important function.

Not everything that seems simple, is simple to implement. Not everything that can be achieved in other ways, is the most important thing for development.
I agree with the author of sh3d. You can create the texture yourself now. Personally I always concentrate on implementing features which cannot be achieved by any other way in my personal projects.
