Any chance of a brief tutorial on this roof was created? I'm having a bit of difficulty wrapping my head around it.
When I try I get disjointed joints, plus I can't figure out how to fill in the openeing.

I tried something a bit different and got this far, but still can't figure out how to add a face to the top.

I cannot remember, not with SH3D. Either Blender or Sketchup. Probably the latter as such shapes are easy to make with correct textures once you know the toolbox (8-Poligon - Lines across - Move centre along blue axis). If I were to try with SH3D, I would make only one triangled wall, export - import/rotate by degrees to the angle/pitch of the roof; and then use the triangle eight times to put together a roof. Doable, but a bit outside SH3D's comfort zone...
Thanks for your reply. I tried Blender but the learning curve is a bit more than I care to tackle at this time and I never did care for Sketchup.
I do have a modeling program that exports as either 3ds or dae. It's called 3DCanvas. I might try with it, but I was really hoping to use SH3D since texturing is so easy.
