We live differently. On my Nordic designs, I found that the (brilliant) models available were not exactly what I needed. I am also sensitive to size. Therefore I mostly created models on the fly for my cabin-in-the-mountains rebuild project (and then a few and a few more). Enclosed the whole shebang. Some models may be useful to others:
1) All models tested, work well in sh3d.
2) Attention is paid to naming the materials in the mtl files to make it easy for users to change colours and textures (yes, there is a texture file to go with it, comes later).
3) Detail renders nicely, but object-size was given priority over hard-core geometry.
4) All models (and textures) were created by me (with one exception for which copyright has been cleared). I prefer CC-BY, but I am not fussed. If anything is useful, feel free as a sign of gratitude for a very cleverly designed piece of software.
5) I hope .properties conventions are well attended to.
ok
PS It is my personal collection, so even if generic in its nature, the selection was based on what I needed at the time (bigger files like trees with proper branches were excluded because that is not the point of this collection).
Most strange, it seems FurnitureLibraryEditor reset the staircaseCutOutShape# to default for the staircases (at least I think that is what happened). Here with the original values restored (and two roofs changed category).
ok
Thanks for these nice models. I'm pretty sure it will be useful for many users.
About the staircaseCutOutShape# issue, see my comment in bug #398 report.
To avoid confusion, I removed the first file you submitted.
Thanks - and thanks for removing the first file. I hope some may be of use to Nordic users (and no-bloat neurotics like me...) ok
FYI: The above models catalogue shall be updated in a bit, in part because 4.2 beta resolves door/window cutout issues and has rendered some models superfluous. ok
спасибо вам! thank you!
You are welcome...
I will update the collection (after the Olympics... :-) )
Я буду обновлять коллекцию (после Олимпиады ... :-) )
