Please see attached for Error Log created when I try to add elements to my Plan. This particular case I added a Furniture to my plan, which immediately closed. I also downloaded the Furniture Library from your SweetHome3D site and the same thing happens.

Unfortunately, the log file doesn't give that much valuable information.
Does it happen with any piece of furniture? Did you try to open some files available in the gallery?

      Hi,

It occurs with some of the programed furniture/items and then again with version 1.5.1 sets. I did not try to use every single item but it is clear that there are bugs to be fixed. One in particular is the "Staircase" in Miscellaneous folder. Can you say what "valuable information" I can provide from my end?

Hi again, has there been any progress with my problem? It is becoming a nuisance each time I add a Furniture to my plan. I am using the Portable version of 4.6 now and this still occurs. Has this happened to anyone else?

Thanks again for all your help.

Maybe in your case it would work better with the Java Web Start version and Java 8.
Install last Java then click on Java Web Start link to try.

Thanks for replying. I tried your suggestions, but the same thing occurs. Would me using Windows XP has anything to do with it? I also used Portable Version 3.5 and the same thing happens.

    Hi,
I have same problem after adding something rounded. SH3D displays error: "SH3D will exit now because of a fatal error in the 3D rendering system of your computer. Please update the DirectX/OpenGL drivers of your computer graphics card.". Just after adding furniture SH3D crashes but offer to save your plan and closes. Just after opening saved plan, SH3D crashes with the error above.
The advice in the message is right :) but I think not possible (because Window XP) therefore
I would like to suggest a new feature in SH3D, to switch off temporary 3d rendering. This way user can load plan and remove the last added furniture. Additionaly this allows to switch off "online" rendering in complex plans while editing them for increasing in performance.
As a workaround, user can load plan in another system with more recent OS and remove the last added furniture.
