#435 Order of numbers in vertical dimension labels is inverted on paper printout (not in PDF)

Dimension labels in left-right orientation are ok on screen, in PDF output and on printouts. But on printouts, labels in vertical orientation have order of numbers inverted, which renders the paper copy somewhat useless. On screen and in PDF output numbers are alright. (So workaround is to create PDF and send this to printer.)

Using version 3.5+dfsg-1 on debian wheezy.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug #405, but that could be a bug in the printer driver too.
Could you try with Sweet Home 3D 4.3?

I experienced this problem already with my old brother printer, but blamed the proprietary driver. As the problem persists with the new HP printer I got recently, I doubt it's related to the printer driver.

Anyway, I purged the debian package, but kept all dependencies of the 3.5 version (hold). After installation of sweethome3d_4.3+dfsg-1_all.deb from debian archives, the problem persists.

Not only the dimensions labels but all texts are printed in reverse order (from right to left). It happened with previous created files not with those newly.
    Here is how i test:

    1. I run v4.4 on debian sid x64 system; JRE-1.7u60 & nVidia proprietary driver
    2. I test in 4 available ways:
      c1 -sh3d installed from official debian repository & JRE-1.7u60
      c2 -sh3d installable version from sh3d site & JRE-1.6u45
      c3 -sh3d portable version & JRE-1.6u45
      c4 -sh3d jnpl file & JRE-1.7u60
    3. I create a demo.sh3d in c1 and then I print to file in all 4 variants. All's ok except the room textures which are not show in c3 for 2Dplan.
    4. I open some files created in previously versions of sh3d (from v2 to v4.3) and I print to file with this results:
-c1 & c4 print all texts in reverse order (surface, dimensions, texts box)
      -c2 & c3 print OK
    5. This is not a new issue; it happen for at least 3 years but I resolve it by switching between cases or export to pdf and then print on paper.
    6. All I can see is the different JRE (1.6-work OK; 1.7-don't)
    7. Is not a printer driver because I have the same results on 3 different desktops with 3 different printers (Brother,HP,Samsung)

Otra forma de hacerlo bien: la opción del menú Archivo - Exportar a PDF... funciona bien.
Alia maniero fari bone: la eblo en la menuo Dosiero - Eksporti al PDF... funkcias bone.
Another way to do well: the option in the File menu - Export to PDF... works well.
