z-fighting bug

I noticed that too from time to time, but don't know if it can be fixed. You should check if any new driver is available for your graphic card and/or limit the number of transparent objects in the field of view.
Note that this issue won't appear in the photo rendering at the two best quality levels.
In version 4.6, I changed a parameter in the 3D view that should fix most z-fighting issues.
