Hi,

I was using the free Sweet Home 3D v5.x.x for a while and since i was very happy with the software I recently decided to upgraded to the paid Mac App store version to support your work.

But with with newer version, I'm unable to import any new furnitures that i was able to import in the older v5 of Sweet Home 3D

I instantly get a "Couldn't read the model. Please choose new model." message as soon as I drag the model in the window. (see screenshot)

Thank you for your help

Config : Mac OS 13.0.1 / Sweet Home 3D v7.0.7 Mac App Store

Depending on where you stored the imported model, you may ensure that Full Disk Access is granted to Sweet Home 3D in the Privacy tab of Security & Privacy panel of System Preferences. Is it the case?

Sweet Home 3D wasn't on the list for the full Disk Acces.
I added it and relaunch but still got the same message.

I also try to mode the model from my download fole to my desktop without any further success

Did you try to import a ZIP file as indicated in the screenshot and in the FAQ How can I import 3D models in OBJ, DAE or 3DS format with the Mac App Store version of Sweet Home 3D?

Indeed it work that way !
Sorry I didn't read the instructions on top, i was so used to successfully drag and drop any 3d files in the previous version that i didn't notice this subtle change.
    Thank you for your help
