Hi, in the last online version I don't see the 'save' button.
When I change my project, go to home page, and re-open the project, I Often (not always... I don't know why) lose the New work...
How can I solve this problem?
Thank you!

There's no Save button in the new JS Online version where the edited home is automatically saved, every 2 second for the current version. It's stated in the Sweet Home 3D Online Manager page when you create a new home.
If you think some data weren't saved, please describe a way to reproduce this bug.

Thank you for your reply. In any case, yesterday I had this problem for waiting time greater than 2 sec... I will try today.
The way to reproduce is simply modify the project, go to home page, return to your project and check....try many times!

Sorry I can't reproduce your issue. You must be doing special :-/
Does it happen also with a new home?

What is your login name so I can check logs?

From the logs, once you duplicated your current project, a few updates were recorded during 10 minutes yesterday, then no requests arrived on the server during 2 hours. Are you sure that your Internet connection works correctly?

I suppose, at this point, that not all the updates to the project were correctly registered, and then sent to the server...
My connection to internet is very good.
Do you think that could be possible to reintegrate the save button to the online version? It should be best solution... With the previous version I never had this type of problem.
    Thank you

No, it's not possible and not desirable in a JavaScript environment where a crash may happen at any moment without notice. You're also the first person to report this issue among the thousand users who use the Online version (even if that doesn't mean that it didn't happen to someone else).
Maybe you could try with another browser, but don't wait too long to check if it works.
    Thanks for your patience.

I try ed with 2 browser... Same problem

Then, even if I would prefer to find the reason why some of your requests didn't arrive to sweethome3d.com server, I would recommend to use the downloadable version in your case.

Thank you Emmanuel, I agree with you.
    I will download the software.

    Still wondering what could happen...
Could you check how it works with a brand new home?
Would you be able to check the errors that might be reported in the JavaScript console of your browser (don't bother with lines Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) but there could be other lines that would explain why your updates weren't sent to the server)?

Ok... I tried with a new project... Same problem, but I understand where could be the problem.
When I make rapid changes, is possible that something is lost.
    You can try:
Rapid changes, then immediately refresh the page
Slow changes, then immediately refresh the page

  • Emmanuel Puybaret

Don't forget that changes are sent to the server "only" every 2 seconds.
Last changes are also sent when the user closes the editor window or goes to another web page but this kind of user action isn't always reported to the program in some browsers. Anyway, in that case, there shouldn't be too many lost information in 2 seconds max (if any).

Hey, this is also happening to me. It started yesterday, and now I never know when I'll keep my project.
