#21 Greedy Hierarchy View Extension - Can it change?

Hey Matt,

We've integrated SVE into one of our RCP apps.The Hierarchy view is showing up in every perspective we have. At first is was not an issue, but we an looking at adding more users and as I've been writing more manauals from a "fresh start", the SVE Hierarchy view is cluttering up all my examples and it's awkward to write "just close the Hierarchy view cause it's not needed".

Is there anyway the targetID can be relaxed or made more specific here?:

Has the targetID been set to * so that you can extend every perspective in DVKit or something?

Hi Brandon,
I'll look into this. My initial thought is that this could fairly easily change without having too much negative impact. I suspect I used a targetID of '*' back before there was a dedicated SystemVerilog perspective.
