If you write something like that -
EPISODE NUMBER
<l>EPISODE NAME</l>

Subtitle text line #1
Subtitle text line #2
And on the next subtitle you write -
EPISODE NUMBER
<l>EPISODE NAME</l>

(With the same number of lines, emptied when there is no text to fill it with)
And the on the next subtitle you write -
EPISODE NUMBER
<l>EPISODE NAME</l>

Subtitle text line #3
Subtitle text line #4
The lines that are the same for the three subtitles will not show up at the same place. I think they will be in the same height, but one will move a little to the left or two the right.
(May be adding an <i> and an </i> to the subtitle text lines will generate it, in case it does not regenerate itself with this explanation)
