My recent file list is set to 20 items (or was it 19?).
The application fails to load items in the list if they contain some (with the exception of "é" for example) diacritical symbols.
Unfortunately, those are VERY frequently used in the Czech language, system-wide.
I wish there was a log file in the application directory.
This bug makes those files disappear if they contain diacritics.
Steps to reproduce:
And if somebody simply asks me not to use my language for the filenames of subtitles that translate something into that language, I will be p*ssed. :)
Unlike Unicode support, these symbols are available for ANSI codepages and for almost all the basic fonts as well, i.e. there is no solid reason why it shouldn't be working correctly. Arial, Verdana, MS Sans Serif, Calibri, Segoe UI,... this should work even if the application was made for Win98, as even those systems support these symbols by default (as long as you have the proper keyboard layout, if you want to type them by hand, that is). :P
Also, I am (still... I'll fix it eventually, I promise!) running an older version. But I don't remember reading about this in the changelog, so... better document it now before I forget (which has happened several times already...).
I've tested it in the currently newest version 6.2.4 and it still occurs.
Solved in v6.2.5.
