    If you want to save something fast, use the shortcuts such as Ctrl-S (save original file), Shift-Alt-P (safe project). If you don't like those shortcuts, try the Shortcut Editor. Hit "Settings" in the menu and then "Edit Shortcuts"

    Could you please elaborate what you were doing with case conversion( control + shift + c)? Was waveform active for example? Were you doing something else? More information is needed to fix your problem.

    Try the attached test debug version and let me know if it solves your problem. Additionally it also has: Made OCR errors more verbose Added the ability to print subtitles. Improved "Insert Subtitle" behavior in Translator Mode: Now depends on the column where multi-selection occurs (Text, Translator, or other). Original-only or translation insertion is now possible. Updates to the Shortcut Editor: Added waveform-related entries. Improved printing of shortcuts based on the editor’s font size.

    It's because the video renderer needs time to sync up. When you press the buttons very fast, the video can't catch up and the result you have noticed. There are better ways to solve this problem: settings -> settings -> video preview -> change Backward en Forward time. Or try to pause the movie and then press the forward/backward button. Alternatively you can use in the Menu -> Search -> Go To Movie position. It will remember the movie position if you have entered it before. If you really mean the...

    If you install VLC 32 bit (it needs to be 32 bit), Subtitle Workshop can use VLC instead of codecs. In Subtitle Workshop, in the Menu -> Video -> Video Renderer -> VLC.
