Hi Alex,

I have tried both a colon and a semi-colon and receive the same error.  When I look up the syntax, it only stops at database with nothing after it.  This driver and url works for all my other UDB databases.  This new one has added security to it and I can't connect.

Effectively it adds a series of menu options to carry out quick analysis and modifications of the database. Note it is all based in Java - if you want to add new commands then I believe you need to code them in the plugin and recompile it.

First of all I find it difficult to find a right contact regarding this 
request. So please feel free to toss this Email to a right person.

My name is JK and I am a global marketing manager here in InfiniFlux. 
We, InfiniFlux, are a DBMS provider which specializes in processing IoT 
and Sensor data in real-time for IoT Gateway.

While many of clients are using SQuirrel SQL client, we figured that it 
would be great if we place our driver as a default driver in SQuirrel. 
There are already a bunch of default drivers and we would like to be one 
of default driver providers. Would you please how the procedure would be 
and what would be required?

We can provide all the info and drivers if required.

Hi, using V3.7.1. on windows 10.

I have a grails H2 database running on Linux. I can connect to the db via dbconsole in a browser. It shows the tables that I have added and the entries in those tables via SQL statements.

I have also connected to the same database via Squirrel. But I can not see the tables. If I try to run an sql command, I get an error as the table is not found.

I know this is rather vague and probably pretty basic but what am I doing wrong?

If there is further information required then please ask.

Also, as an aside, during the tool installation, an entry is made in the start menu for running squirrel-sql.bat but this opens the file in an editor rather than actually runs it. And windows 10 does not seem to allow a right mouse to run script.

Try changing the font at File > Global Preferences. Fonts tab, Other. Make sure Other is enabled.

[Squirrel-sql-users] Close session over context menu (CTRL-F6) broken?

I just downloaded and installed  the snapshot
"squirrel-sql-snapshot-20161227_2119-standard".


If I have an open session and want to close it over the contect menu "Close
Session" or by hitting CTRL-F6 the session is closed but the session tabs
(Objects, SQL) remain open. Any further attempt to close the session tab is
not successful. If one afterwards attempts to close the session tab over
the 'x' on the tab an error is logged, that the ISession is null (see
attached log).
The only way to close the session tab now is to close the application
itself.

The session tabs close as expected when one do it by ckicking the 'x' of
the session tab directly or by kicking the mouse middle button (wheel).
This providing one has not attempted closing as described above before.

System setup:
Windows 8.1 64 bit
Java 1.8
Database connected is H2

1. no icon in gnome-shell
2. cannot open the .ico file with Gnome image viewer. I get the error: 
"Invalid header in icon".

Why not changing to .png?

Hi all

In the last snapshots I've noticed the new crispy icon acorn.png
However in Linux (Fedora, gnome-shell) I see the old acorn.ico when I 
search the application (and when I mark it as favorite) and I see the 
nice acorn.png when SquirrelSQL is running. Inconsistent behaviour.

This is because the .desktop file generated during the installation 
contains the path to the .ico file.
Can you change it to the .png file?
