Hi Alex, I have tried both a colon and a semi-colon and receive the same error. When I look up the syntax, it only stops at database with nothing after it. This driver and url works for all my other UDB databases. This new one has added security to it and I can't connect. Hi Neville, Thanks for taking time to write to us. I appreciate it a lot. I wonder if you need any information for you to define the template(e.i.,Driver Name, Class Name, Default Port, URL for driver... ). I can provide all of these if you require, so please let me know. Hi JK, Thanks for the interest….. I’m not aware of any policy - Gerd or one of the more regular contributors might be able to help. However as a general rule I believe SquirrelSQL doesn’t ship with any JDBC drivers. What it does have is a bunch of JDBC templates so that if you add the jar containing the driver into the classpath then it will find that driver and and give examples how to define your connection, etc. Defining that template is straightforward, I’ll try to do it this weekend for your DB and commit it into the tree. What you might want to consider is developing a DB-specific plugin so that SquirrelSQL handles anything special about InfiniFlux. From the readme within the plugin itself…. The Smarttools plugin adds the ability to help you with little routines on your database work. It includes the following modules: * Search null values in NOT NULL columns * Change data * Search missing indices and from here Create index or primary key You can use them by opening the session popup menu Effectively it adds a series of menu options to carry out quick analysis and modifications of the database. Note it is all based in Java - if you want to add new commands then I believe you need to code them in the plugin and recompile it. N. Hi, using V3.7.1. on windows 10. I have a grails H2 database running on Linux. I can connect to the db via dbconsole in a browser. It shows the tables that I have added and the entries in those tables via SQL statements. I have also connected to the same database via Squirrel. But I can not see the tables. If I try to run an sql command, I get an error as the table is not found. I know this is rather vague and probably pretty basic but what am I doing wrong? If there is further information required then please ask. Also, as an aside, during the tool installation, an entry is made in the start menu for running squirrel-sql.bat but this opens the file in an editor rather than actually runs it. And windows 10 does not seem to allow a right mouse to run script. |

I just downloaded and installed the snapshot "squirrel-sql-snapshot-20161227_2119-standard". If I have an open session and want to close it over the contect menu "Close Session" or by hitting CTRL-F6 the session is closed but the session tabs (Objects, SQL) remain open. Any further attempt to close the session tab is not successful. If one afterwards attempts to close the session tab over the 'x' on the tab an error is logged, that the ISession is null (see attached log). The only way to close the session tab now is to close the application itself. The session tabs close as expected when one do it by ckicking the 'x' of the session tab directly or by kicking the mouse middle button (wheel). This providing one has not attempted closing as described above before. The problem should be fixed. Could you please give http://sourceforge.net/projects/squirrel-sql/files/3-snapshots/snapshot-20161223_2019 a try. Hi all In the last snapshots I've noticed the new crispy icon acorn.png However in Linux (Fedora, gnome-shell) I see the old acorn.ico when I search the application (and when I mark it as favorite) and I see the nice acorn.png when SquirrelSQL is running. Inconsistent behaviour. This is because the .desktop file generated during the installation contains the path to the .ico file. Can you change it to the .png file? [squirrel-sql-git (master)]$ git grep acorn\.ico archive/sql12/build/Unix_shortcutSpec.xml: iconFile="$INSTALL_PATH/icons/acorn.ico" archive/sql12/build/shortcutSpec.xml: iconFile="$INSTALL_PATH/icons/acorn.ico" archive/squirrel-sql/build/shortcutSpec.xml: iconFile="$INSTALL_PATH/icons/acorn.ico" sql12/core/doc/changes.txt:On Mac OS X the SQuirreL now uses the acorn icon instead of the default java coffee cup icon. sql12/installer/other/Unix_shortcutSpec.xml: iconFile="$INSTALL_PATH/icons/acorn.ico" sql12/installer/other/shortcutSpec.xml: iconFile="$INSTALL_PATH/icons/acorn.ico" As far as I can see in the freedesktop spec, PNG is the recommended bitmap format: > An icon file is an image that can be loaded and used as an icon.
