Hi, I was trying to spiff up the Sales Receipt that's printed from the POS screen and ran into the limit of my abilities. I would like to add color, variable fonts and a logo. 1) Is this possible? 2) How do I? Thanks Bob Crandell ComputerBase USA |

About 50% of user that receive a PDF invoice from the SQL-Ledger internal email function complain that the pdf won't open or is corrupt, others do not. Is this related to templates or the pdf engine itself? Cheers, Ryan |

Hi, If I create a scheduled transaction I can leave the 'Times' field blank. When going in to view/edit the scheduled transaction it shows as '0'. Does this mean that the scheduled transaction will create invoices indefinitely? Or will it create no more invoices. I have paid for support and have a manual but nothing is mentioned. Hi, I think I have a basic handle on the scheduled invoices. You open the create invoice screen - build up your invoice by clicking update. Then click schedule to go to the schedule screen - and create your schedule for future invoices. Click save and then you are back at the invoice screen - which you *must* then post. The scheduled invoices depend on this invoice existing. The difficulty I have is in putting in schedules which start in the future. i.e. I want to add an invoice for 01/06/2007 and then send out the same invoice every 3 months. And I want all invoices to get emailed out. If I create an invoice for 01/06/2007 and then start the schedule on 01/09/2007 which includes emailing means that the invoice for the 01/06/2007 will not be emailed out. If I create an invoice for 01/06/2007 and then start the schedule on 01/06/2007 which includes emailing then after the 01/06/2007 an extra invoice will be created (which gets emailed) and the system now has two invoices for 01/06/2007. Does anyone have any ideas? Or am I missing something dumb! Thanks, Kevin -- Kevin Bailey IT Consultant Email: kb...@fr... Tel: 01752 268923 W: www.freewayprojects.com |

Just recently, whenever we log into the Sql-Ledger server (on a Linux machine) from WinXP we get constant session timeouts where we have log into the menu window as well as the ledger window. Even when going from one section to another we have the problem. Have looked in the archives and found no solution so far. I think we have narrowed it down to some recent windows updates because we can log in with a WinXP machine that does not have the most recent updates. Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have a solution? TIA Evert Gort |

Hi Roger I mucked around with the check.tex file and got it to conform with the new standards. If you copy this code into a file and name it check.tex (rename your old cheque.tex file first!!) it will give you a starting point. You may also want to play around a little to suit your particular brand of pre-printed cheque. This one is for Nebs 9039 and it prints the info on the bottom third. Just as a curiosity.... Ditter.... I presume the system did not know where to start upgrades as I installed new version without upgrade. If I deleted all the upgrade scripts below 2.4.4 -> 2.5.0 would it work? It looks for me the new installation tried to update datasets right from beginning of time :).
