Everybody, Release 1.1.4 is ready, but I can't upload it to SourceForge, because their FTP server ran out of disk space... I'll try to do the upload (from here in Denmark) as soon as SourceForge solves that problem. In the meantime, please give a current nightly snapshot a try, which essentially is what's gonna be released as 1.1.4 any day now. Juergen |

Juergen, Will the stuff I committed today for JasperReports get included in this release? Juergen/All, Actually my commits did not succeed (although I didn't get an error message) :). Now I can't connect to CVS, getting connection refused for cvs.sourceforge.net. Rob, I believe it made it. I re-synced like an hour ago and I got what looks like the latest version of 'AbstractJasperReportsView' (rev-1.11) Does that sound right? Dmitriy. This might not be the best time for a release since SF seems to have several issues (see below) . Thomas (* 2005-01-19 13:46:41* - Project CVS Service ) On 2005-01-19 the process that synchronizes CVS repositories between the developer and anonymous CVS servers died. The process has been restarted but any changes made during that process will not get synchronized in the 5 hour window. We are running a full sync of all of the CVS data at this time, but that process can take up to 2 days to complete. If you need that data synchronized more quickly, make a change to your repository now and it will get the repository back into the 5 hour update interval, as normal. (* 2005-01-19 11:40:47* - SourceForge.net Web Site ) On 2005-01-19 at 17:00 Pacific there will be up to 3 hours of full downtime for the SourceForge.net website to permit for routine maintenance. (* 2005-01-19 06:26:53* - Download Servers ) On 2005-01-14 the upload.sf.net host ran out of disk space. As a result, we replaced the host with a new one that has 3 times the disk capacity of the old host (3 TB as opposed to 1 TB). However, there is a synchronization issue between that host and the globally distributed file download network. We are looking into that issue, but the impact is that new file releases are no longer readily accessible on most of the download servers. Rob Harrop wrote: > Thanks. Oh my goodness... OK, let's schedule the 1.1.4 release for early next week then. We absolutely need to get this out, as there are tons of fixes and enhancements in there. Of course, further fixes committed in the meantime will make it into 1.1.4. I've also polished some code in the sample applications in the past couple of days, which I'd like to include too. If we have to delay 1.1.4 even further, we should make an official announcement that this delay is caused by SourceForge problems, not by our release schedule.
