This might not be the best time for a release since SF seems to have 
several issues (see below) .

(* 2005-01-19 13:46:41* - Project CVS Service )   On 2005-01-19 the 
process that synchronizes CVS repositories between the developer and 
anonymous CVS servers died. The process has been restarted but any 
changes made during that process will not get synchronized in the 5 hour 
window. We are running a full sync of all of the CVS data at this time, 
but that process can take up to 2 days to complete. If you need that 
data synchronized more quickly, make a change to your repository now and 
it will get the repository back into the 5 hour update interval, as normal.

(* 2005-01-19 11:40:47* - SourceForge.net Web Site )   On 2005-01-19 at 
17:00 Pacific there will be up to 3 hours of full downtime for the 
SourceForge.net website to permit for routine maintenance.

(* 2005-01-19 06:26:53* - Download Servers )   On 2005-01-14 the 
upload.sf.net host ran out of disk space. As a result, we replaced the 
host with a new one that has 3 times the disk capacity of the old host 
(3 TB as opposed to 1 TB). However, there is a synchronization issue 
between that host and the globally distributed file download network. We 
are looking into that issue, but the impact is that new file releases 
are no longer readily accessible on most of the download servers.
