Hi all, I've set up cruise control to run Maven so it should be running on a regular basis and the reports should be up to date. I've also got rid of the test errors by including xerces and some other jars in the project. As before, the site's here: http://monkeymachine.co.uk/spring/maven-reports.html Just need to look at the logo/stylesheets now. Shall I set up a mail to the dev list for failed builds? Hi Alef, I'm still finding my way around CC, but there's a "spamwhilebroken" which I think can be used to disable repeated notifications of a broken build. The mails are too big just now anyway, so I need to find a way to cut down the CC report first... and then wait for someone to break the build :). Luke. That's one yeah... There's also a 'buildafterbuildfailed' flag on the project element, which you can set to true or false. If false, if a build fails, it'll wait with a new build until somebody commits, if true, it keeps trying to build... If your build is deterministic (which it should be of course), buildafterbuildfailed can be set to false... About the emails, if you're using the htmlemail in the publishers element, it'll indeed be quite big, but there's also another emailer, which just generates a link to the results page (if you have set that up also)... Luke This is pretty cool now. I don't need to run Clover locally any more, which is good as I never got the Eclipse plugin to work with the flaky milestone releases of Eclipse I'm stupid enough to use :-) How often does the build run? It would be nice to link from the home page in the near future. However, this could produce a lot of hits. Do you have any problems with that? For instance like this: <antbuilder target="clean build" mulitple="5"/> <antbuilder target="build"/> Then it'll do a clean build every five builds (the other builds are normal ones). When using the MavenBuilder, you can do the same thing. OF course if you're builing hourly, the clean-build should have a multiple attribute of 24 (or 23, I never know ;-): <mavenbuilder goal="maven:distribute" multiple="1"/> <!-- multiple = 1 by default --> <mavenbuilder goal="clean maven:distribute" multiple="5"/> Should do the trick... Thanks Alef. I'll try that out. Looking at the code for the CC scheduler, though, I think you have to put the multiple="1" builder last or it'll be used each time (because 1 divides any number) and any additional builders will be ignored. I've also hacked the xsl to remove most of the output apart from build errors.
