#92 Hits counter keeps reseting every time in a while

Hi,

I posted this ticket some time ago and you closed it without giving me a solution. I checked and its NOT a duplicate so I am reposting it here.

i installed simple php blog some years ago and its been working mostly fine so far until now. Recently i have noticed the hits counter resets for no reason. All of the sudden it shows 0 in the all time hits counter. Is there any kind of limit that resets the counter once is reached? How can I fix that?
