Is there a way to remove the Stats link from the Links Plugin.

I'm no good with php, keep going round in circle looking at all the files.

If you go into Preferences->Sidebar->Enable Stats Option in Menu you can disable it.

I must have looed at the Preferences a couple of dozen time and never noticed that.
Been calling myself all sorts of names.
