I got the same problem. If anyone can tell me what to do to
fix it, would appreciate it.
I have XP Pro with Outlook 2000. I turn off ZoneAlarm and
Norton Antivirus (autoprotect = off).
I'm thinking maybe I need to try the V006 version -- don't
know where to download from.
Otherwise on my other XP machine, this plugin is awsome!
That one is Outlook 2002 (from Office XP).

I get this with no anti virus s/w on the machine:
xp pro sp1, ol 2002 sp2 + salesforce.com add-in
clearly this is a bit of a blocker ;-)
also, the rollback doesn't work: it doesn't rollback the
creation of the install directory.
