I used to use "resample -ql" for 48k aiff to 44k wav and it seemed
ok to me (but my ears aren't the best) - could be the 8k that
is doing it - what happens if just for grins you go to 32k (or
even 44k)?
i was then told to use "polyphase" and have since
in 13.x someone said to use "rabbit" but i don't have 13.x yet
anybody know the quality of audacity's sample conversion routines? (or
for that matter nero's - nero's is on the fly so
can't imagine it is real good)
