[SoX-users] Type of Sweep in Soxeffects

Hello,

I've been using sox with the synth frequency sweep effect to create
some test files for various purposes.  The man page for soxeffect,
however, does not indicate the type of sweep, i.e. linear or
exponential or other, that is being used.

After examining the FFT of some files created with synth sweep,
the character seems to be that of a linear sweep.  If the developers
could include this bit of information in the man page, it may
help out some other confused individuals.
