[SoX-users] Get the length of a .wav-file... How?

hi,

i want to mix two files, but i do not the legth of the first-/above-file.

how can i find out the length of a file?

if i enter "sox file.wav -e stat" i get all information about the
file. but i have to pass the legth of the file to cut the other file
to the right length.

what do i have to enter only to get the length of a file?
