[SoX-users] suggestion needed for playing sound from mic without recording

Hi,

I am looking for a simple application for my embedded system which can play
sound from mic (no need of recording) . Came across sox. Seperately i am
able to use rec and play seperately(Although getting lot of disturbance
while playing. May be i am not doing it properly)

Is there some way i can use sox for my purpose. i don't want to record sound
file but straight play. Also if there is some other minimal sized
application in you knowledge, please share.
