Hi all. I'm having trouble using the trim command. In particular I find that the following command: sox -S -V foo.wav foo2.wav trim 100 10 ; play foo2.wav ...will play the first 10 seconds of the file, not seconds 100-110. It doesn't seem to make any difference if I specify the start offset in samples, or the 00:00:10.0 format. Basically, it starts at the start of the file. I'm using the RPM package from Fedora's development repository, as recommended on the SoX page. That's sox-13.0.0-1 acording to RPM. Anyway, my question is, am I doing something stupid, or is it a bug? And if you can't reproduce the error, I'm happy to put the wave file somewhere you can get it. :) --------------------------------------------------------------------- | Name: Tim Nelson | Because the Creator is, | | E-mail: wa...@sm... | I am | --------------------------------------------------------------------- ----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK---- Version 3.12 GCS d+++ s+: a- C++$ U+++$ P+++$ L+++ E- W+ N+ w--- V- PE(+) Y+>++ PGP->+++ R(+) !tv b++ DI++++ D G+ e++>++++ h! y- -----END GEEK CODE BLOCK----- |
