Hi, yes, it should be possible. Have a look at the man page (call "man sox" in your console) at the following: Section "Input File Combining" (merge and/or mix) Section "Playing & Recording Audio" Section "FILENAMES" Effects "repeat" and "remix" However it seems, like repeat can only repeat a fixed number of times, so you'll need to set it to the upper limit of the count you need. greetings, Erich P.S.: A tip for someone "fairly new to linux": My experience is that it's always a good idea to once in a while read man pages completely at least diagonally (especially when you use the concerned tool). Then you can ask questions in forums or mailing lists - like this one - without suggesting you want others to think for your comfort.
