Oggetto: [SoX-users] Preventing clipping: norm or limiter Hello everyone, I have two question, hope you won’t them silly. I am using sox to apply some effects to my tracks: compand, contrast I am facing problems with clipping: sometimes applying those filters make the track clip, sox advise me at the end of the process as always. I am looking to a limiter to keep the effect under -0.3Db Actually i apply the filters to generate a temp.wav file, the second step is apply norm: sox --norm=-0.3 temp.wav output.wav I think this is not the correct way, may you help me to understand this?
