[SoX-users] stat effect without output effect

Hi ,

I want to get the stat info of a wav file with libsox.lib.  I create an effects chain and add input, stat, output effects to the chain. Sox returns the stat info and also create a new wav file which specified by the output effect. But I don't want to craete a new wav file. Could anyone give me some advice? How should I specify the output effect? Thank you.
