[SoX-users] Q: Howto read (or write) a MP3 ID3 tags using sox

Hi,

I'm trying to find some information on ID3 tags in sox.

According to the changelog/homepage sox should be able to
read and write ID3 from/to mp3 files.

14.1.3 Write support for ID3 and VBR tags in MP3 files.
14.1.0 " * Can now read some MP3 ID3 tags."

But how? The term "ID3" doesn't appear anywhere in the help
pdf and I've been unsuccesful in trying to google for any
ID3 usage examples on the user-list.

Does anybody have an example on how to read/write the
ID3 tag of a given/created mp3 file using sox?
