There is no scope for accidental phase shift - simply use positive numbers only. Obviously the shift for negative parameters is only 180 degrees, i.e. inversion. Which is what the man page states. Plus it provides mechanism for waveform subtraction which is a very useful feature. I see absolutely no problem with the current behaviour. If you find the manpage misleading (not in my case, though), please send a patch to the manpage source code you deem appropriate. Pavel. |
